 Dusit Zoo or Khao Din

This is an old zoo and is extremely popular. Located next to the Dusit Throne Hall (National Assembly), Dusit Zoo is very large and houses a wide range of tropical wild animals. It also serves as a public park and an area of recreation. In addition to watching the animals it is possible to conduct studies on wild life from within the zoo. It is open to the public from 08:00 to 18:00 hours and for more information you are advised to telephone 281-2000.

The snake Farm, Thai Red Cross

Inside the compound of the Thai Red Cross at Chulalongkorn Hospital on Rama IV Road is a huge snake farm conducting venom extraction to make anti-snake-bite serum. Here you can study different species of snakes, and their venom properties, and observe the milking of snakes to extract venom. The farm is open on weekdays from 08:30 to 16:30 hours, from 08:30 to 12:00 hours on weekends and public holidays. Venom milking demonstrations take place at 10:30 and 14:00 hours midweek, and on weekends and public holidays at 10:30 hours.

Dan Neramit (Fantasy Land)

Situated on Pahonyothin Road, beside the Registration Division of the Royal Police Department at Lat Phrao, Dan Neramit is the first amusement park in Thailand where there are more than thirty types of imported game machines including Fantasy Land and Cinderella's caste at the forefront of the park. It is a dream land in the imagination of a child. Within its compound there are many restaurants serving different types of food and refreshments. It is open to the public on weekdays from 10:00 to 17:00 hours and from 10:00 to 19:00 hours during weekends and official holidays. Admission fees for adults and children are 60 baht and 50 baht respectively. Children under 90 centimetres in height are exempted from admission fees. Dream World

Located at kilometre 7 on the Rangsit-Ongkharak Road, Amphur Thanyaburi of Pathumthani Province, Dream World has within its compound a Fantasy Land and a wide variety of amusement machines and games. It is open during weekdays from 09:30 to 17:00 hours and 09:30 and 19:00 during weekends and official holidays. Admission fees plus fee for stage entertainment for adults and children are 95 baht and 80 baht respectively. Fees including tickets for all amusement games for adults and children are 250 baht. Safari World

Situated on waste land at 99 Ram Inthra Road 1, at kilometre 9, Safari World is divided into two parts. The first part is Safari Park, an open zoo with wild animals like zebra, deer, giraffe, tiger, lion, bear, bird and so forth. Tourists may take a drive in this area, using private cars or taking guided tours which can be arranged upon request, to observe the animals living in a natural environment. The second part is the Marine Park and water garden where there is a wide variety of marine animals and other rare animals, including shows of trained dolphin, bird, seal and monkey. In addition there are many restaurants and game stalls for throwing darts, loops, shooting, etc. There is a tram to take tourists on a tour around the Marine Park. Safari World is open during weekdays from 09:30 to 17:00 and 09:00 to 18:00 during weekends. Admission fees for adults and children are 280 baht and 180 baht respectively. Taling Chan Floating Market

This is weekend market open only on Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 to 16:00 hours at the pier in front of Taling Chan District Office or Sam Nak Ngarn Khet Taling Chun. Around that area there are facilities for private boat tours along the canal to observe the green surroundings of fruit orchards and the lift style of the people at Taling Chan.
